"I recently had the opportunity to work with Erik during a 'Systemic Team Alignment' training series.  Erik's training really challenged participants to look inward to challenge assumptions, bias, barriers and more.

One particular training session stood out and personally resonated with me.  In this session, Learning How to Learn, we discussed the enemies of learning, like distrust, arrogance, or the inability to admit 'I don't know' or just not granting permission to be taught, among others.  This acknowledgment that learning doesn't just happen and it takes willingness and committing time and resources and "learning how to learn" was extremely important for our young/ new managers to understand the need to take personal charge and accountability for their own learning and development.
